About the Team
The People Business Partner will be part of the Human Resources team at Nutanix, based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. This team is dedicated to fostering a positive work environment and supporting the ongoing development of employees, with a particular focus on collaboration and inclusivity. The mission of the HR team is to align organizational goals with employee engagement, ensuring that all team members thrive while contributing to Nutanix's overall objectives. The culture within the team is characterized by a "can-do" attitude, solution-oriented mentality, and a strong emphasis on personal and professional growth.
You will report to the Hiring Manager, who is focused on creating a supportive and flexible work environment. This manager encourages team members to bring solutions rather than complaints and emphasizes the importance of HR representation in leadership discussions. The work setup for this role is hybrid, with the expectation that the individual will be in the office at least three days a week to facilitate collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
The role entails minimal travel requirements, estimated at about 10% for team meetings. The primary expectation is that the individual will primarily work from the office in Munich while maintaining flexibility for occasional remote work as needed.

 

Your Role
  • Support the newly elected workers council with ongoing activities and employee relations matters.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including sales and wider teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Engage in and overall talent strategy for the  Central Europe region focusing on improving employee experience strategies in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
  • Utilize technology and data analysis for reporting and decision-making to enhance HR processes.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting a solution-oriented mindset among team members.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including influencing leadership on the importance of HR.
  • Participate in global projects and initiatives, contributing to both local and international goals.
  • Adapt to organizational changes and support continuous growth and learning within the team.

 

What You Will Bring
  • Minimum five years of experience as an HR adviser, consultant, or people business partner.
  • Experience with employee relations (ER) and workers' council matters.
  • Strong consultation skills and ability to foster relationships with stakeholders.
  • Solution-oriented mentality and growth mindset, adaptable to change.
  • Interest in technology and data analysis, with proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills for managing multiple initiatives.
  • High energy with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for teamwork.
  • Ability to support a hybrid work model while promoting collaboration and engagement.
